SUNBURST News:
The most recent K alert from NOAA was a K-5 on August 4, 2010
A K-6 alert was issued on August 3, 2010. This was the result of a CME 2 days earlier. No sites reached 10 A during this event.
Many Sunburst sites experienced moderate level GIC activity on April 5, 2010
ATC has recently rejoined the Sunburst Network.
We have developed easier to install wireless transformal neutral monitiors.
Equipment for additional Sunburst sites can be installed in 2010.
